Project Summary

In December 2018, Tiverton Cares donated hats and mittens to disadvantaged children through the local Head Start program, with the most-popular items being the themed hats hand-knitted by Laura Rom.

For the first five years of our involvement Tiverton Cares provided a Community Service Scholarship for students graduating from Tiverton High School.

In late 2014, Tiverton Cares raised money and collected supplies in support of local infectious disease doctor Timothy Flanigan’s life-saving trip to Liberia in Africa in the midst of the Ebola epidemic.

On April 10, 2013, Tiverton Cares hosted an extremely busy spaghetti dinner to raise funds for the soon-to-be-built new library.
