In December 2018, Tiverton Cares donated hats and mittens to disadvantaged children through the local Head Start program, with the most-popular items being the themed hats hand-knitted by Laura Rom. Other clothing items were purchased with donations Cares collected.
As part of its Christmas 2018 initiative, Cares also donated presents requested on the giving trees of St. Theresa and St. Christopher Roman Catholic parish as well as lightly used winter wear donated for adults.
